COMMUNITY INFLUENCERS

We would like to invite you to participate in the SOUL District’s online survey about your experiences as a respected community influencer in the Portland Metro Area , and your values and concerns as they relate to the future economic well-being of the African American business community. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Community influencers can be many things – community organizers, activists, non-profit stakeholders, religious leaders, cultural leaders, elected officials, or long-standing and respected community members. Above all, they are defined by the care they express for the improvement and well-being of the community and their commitment of time and energy to help shape its future.

IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION, OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PARTICIPATED, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE WITH THE SURVEY.

This survey is being conducted in partnership with the Black Investment Corporation for Economic Progress Inc. (BICEP) to support their development and implementation of the SOUL District, a plan for creating an economic hub and business platform for the black business and entrepreneurial community in inner N/NE Portland.

BICEP is currently fiscally sponsored by the North/Northeast Economic Development Alliance Inc.

The following survey is being hosted by an independent, third party research firm, DHM Research. The survey is completely confidential, and no name or identifying information will be associated with any completed surveys or individual responses. All analysis and reporting will be conducted in the aggregate.
